“San Francisco investor buys 3 Denver apartment complexes for $62M” 

(When you see $60M moving into a market buying existing multi-family, it is as clear a buy sign in residential as there is.  Denver is gaining a lot of momentum.  Seeing positive real estate signs since spring.. with some ups and downs, of course.  Details on each of the 3 complexes:  

(1) The Lodge at Aspen Grove, 4697 E. Louisiana Ave., Denver 80246-3427 ― This 284-unit property sold for $12 million, or $42,254 per unit. The complex was built in 1970. Information about this seller was not available in public record, but supposedly is GE Capital Real Estate.

(2) The Lakes at Monaco Pointe, 6165 E. Iliff Ave., Denver 80222 ― This property sold for $17 million, or $39,906 per unit. It was completed in 1975 and includes 426 units. The seller was GE Capital Real Estate, as Leeward Strategic Properties Inc., according to Denver County property records. 

(3) Hickory Ridge, 2134 S. Richfield Way, Aurora 80013-4131 ― This 688-unit apartment complex south of Buckley Air Force Base sold for $33 million, or $47,965 per unit. It was completed in 1984. GE Capital, as Leeward, also was the seller of this property, Arapahoe County real estate records show.
